I didn’t expect it to be, but staring straight into the eyes of these fascinating bugs is chilling. The clear, close up shots of their heads and the incredible, foreign detail of their eyes and bodies makes them seem like they’re not a part of this world. I mean, you could totally convince me that these are aliens.

1969 CHEVY CAMARO Z28 BY GEARHEAD GARAGE

Many old school customization projects start off as a rags to riches story, with an owner’s desire to restore the former glory of a vintage ride. The 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28 customized by Gearhead Garage in Northern Cali was one such vehicle. The car was a random find, but wasn’t exactly as advertised, showing up to the garage after a long trek from the East Coast with a bit of rust and some typical old school car issues that the shop was actually able to iron out quite nicely.

Watching realistic CGI giraffes dive into a pool is pure ridiculous fun

This is completely absurd but Nicolas Deveaux’s 5 Mètres 80 is so fun that it doesn’t really matter. A group of giraffes raid a pool and start jumping off the high dive while doing tricks. It’s all CGI but the giraffes look so realistic that I can’t help but imagine the alternate reality that this is happening somewhere in some pool.

Flyover drone footage of Auschwitz concentration camp

The BBC flew a drone over the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp today to show off what it looks like and it’s absolutely haunting. Over a million people died in this concentration camp from 1940 to 1945. It’s been 70 years since the Soviets liberated the camp and it’s still so tragic to see.
