The True Beat Goes On: Hands-On with the Arnold & Son TBTE

For a watchmaking force like Arnold & Son, things move fast. Really fast. In the past three years alone, we’ve witnessed around 20 new movements coming out of this progressive manufacture; each with a distinct architecture and set of functions. While this ensures that both the press as well as the collector community continue paying attention to the brand, it does mean that some of its watches get less attention than they deserve. Michigan Farmer Uncovers Rare, Near-Complete Woolly Mammoth Fossil In Field

While digging in his field on Monday, Michigan farmer James Bristle found what he thought was ordinary debris in his field. After digging further, he discovered that what he had found wasn’t a fence post, but bones from a Woolly Mammoth.

Beautiful video shows black and white imagery in stunning color

It sounds backwards but this video is completely in black and white but it was shot in color. As in, everything that you see in the video is actually black and white in real life and was captured to express the real colors in the colorless colors. And it works! Black and white ‘in color’ pops so much more than it would if you just slapped a black and white filter on it.
