LeBron James Becomes the Youngest Player in NBA History to Score 25,000 Points

Early in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, LeBron James caught a lob pass from Matthew Dellavedova and put it through the hoop. It was something LeBron has done time and time again. But this one was different because it helped land him in the record books as the 20th player in NBA history to score 25,000 points.

More importantly, at 30 years and 307 days, James becomes the youngest player in league history to reach the mark.

This latest accomplishment will go nicely on the resume, which already includes two NBA titles, two NBA Finals MVP awards, 11 All-Star selections, four league MVP awards, nine All-NBA First Team selections, five All-Defensive First Team selections, and a 2004 Rookie of the Year trophy. Did we miss anything? Probably.
