With Kobe Bryant’s farewell tour officially underway, we are now witnessing one of the final two signature sneakers that he’ll ever play in. While the Kobe 11 is rumored to be releasing very soon, Nike is still dropping a healthy amount of X colorways, with the next one coming in a “Hot Lava” colorway.
First images of this colorway in GS sizes leaked last month, and nowShoe Palace gives us an official look at the men’s version. As expected, there isn’t much of a difference, with both using a University Red, white, Bright Crimson, and Hot Lava. It isn’t likely that we’ll ever see Bryant play in this colorway, but the X will definitely have a special role in Bryant’s sneaker history as it will be associated with his final chapter.
This sneaker will release on Dec. 10.
