Drake held a listening party for ‘Views’ album Friday night in Toronto, where he performed and brought out Justin Bieber. “Before anybody this year, it was this guy putting on the vibes,” said Drizzy.
After that, he told the crowd that he sold around 630,000 copies of his new album in one night.“I got a text message that we sold like 630,000-something records in one night, so that’s the first time I’ve ever done that s***, so thank you very much.”
You can hear him say so below.
If those numbers are accurate, Drizzy will have his biggest opening week ever, as Nothing Was The Same currently holds that record at 658,000. In comparison, What a Time to Be Alive sold 375,000 first week and If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late moved 535,000 units in a three days.
