Kobe Bryant has since retired from the NBA, but his sneaker releases are showing no signs of slowing down. His latest signature sneaker the Nike Kobe 11 EM “Carpe Diem” was first seen last month and now a better look is available.
Inspired by the “seize the day” mentality Bryant had on the court all the way up until his final game, the Kobe 11 EM “Carpe Diem” features a black engineered mesh upper set on top of a translucent black outsole. Purple and university gold accents lend to Bryant’s career-long history with the Los Angels Lakers. To complete the sneakers, Hyperfuse tape is wrapped around the toe cap and sides, while Flywire is used on the lacing system.
The Nike Kobe 11 EM “Carpe Diem” is scheduled to release on May 21for $160 at select retailers.
