With the second quarter winding down during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Tristan Thompson and the Toronto Raptors’ Bismack Biyombo started to scuffle mid-court.
Naturally, LeBron James walked over to make sure things didn’t get out of hand. Less naturally, however, he soon found himself dramatically falling to the ground in what was one of the better acting jobs of the year.
In live time, it appeared that Thompson accidentally smacked James in the face, causing all 250 lbs. of the four-time NBA MVP to move approximately 15-20 ft., so far that he literally fell out of the screen.
But slow the video down and take a look from another angle, and it’s questionable at best whether one of the strongest men in the world would naturally fall over in such dramatic fashion as a result of his teammate lightly brushing a forearm against his lips. Extremely questionable.
Let’s look a little closer now.
