But now it is officially “the Most Beautiful Concept Car of 2016,” according to the pros at the 32nd Festival Automobile International at the Hôtel des Invalides, coincidentally, also in Paris.

Short Film (Sundance 2017): It’s A Date

Zachary Zezima is a young and gifted animator out of the CalArts scene who has been on our radar for a couple of years with a prolific series of stylistically promising short form pieces. It’s a Date is a culmination of his preoccupations, a weird but humanistic look at a couple on a first date. It seems to be going well until the man decides to reallyopen up and get (sur)real. Now graduated, Zezima is a founder of Circle Line, an inter-disciplinary collective with a Short of The Week-featured music video to its name.

Mysterious Brain Disease in Children Tied to a Popular Fruit

Since 1995, hundreds of poor children in Muzaffarpur, India have mysteriously suffered seizures and feelings of brain fogginess, usually in the morning. Many would soon die. This happened every year between May and July: In 2014, for example, Muzaffarpur hospitals admitted 390 kids with the symptoms, resulting in 122 deaths.
