Let’s be honest—there’s a bit of Yeezy 350 Boost fatigue setting in with the sneaker community. Sure, they have no problem selling and then re-selling, but the buzz isn’t quite where it was a year ago. Fortunately, Kanye West is ready to deliver some new silhouettes, In fact, he previewed an unreleased runner as a part of his Yeezy Season 5 Collection. Now, as he’s hard at work on Yeezy Season 6, his friend Ibn Jasper provides a first look at another new Yeezy.
The unnamed model is a mash-up of 90s and 2000s skate shoes, technical runners and high fashion deliveries from designers like Rick Owens. There’s no visible Yeezy or Adidas branding, but the notation of adiprene cushioning confirms that it is another 3-Stripes collaboration. There’s also an on-foot image, which also features what appears to be a high-top version of the same sneaker in the background.
As of now, there’s no date for the Yeezy Season 6 showing, but during New York Fashion Week in September seems like a safe guess. Stay tuned for updates as more about this sneaker is revealed.
