Frida Kahlo‘s Two Nudes in the Forest (The land itself) set an auction milestone back in 2016, when it sold at Christie’s for $6m USD. Sotheby’s is expected to shatter that record this fall, when the artist’s self-portrait, Diego y yo (Diego and I) hits auction for an estimated worth of up to $30m USD.
Earlier this week, Banksy‘s Game Changer painting set a new auction world record. The piece, which honors U.K. healthcare workers, also set a new personal record for the artist, selling for $23.1 million USD at Christie’s in London.
A working Apple-1, one of the tech giant’s first line of computers introduced back in 1976, is now up for auction on eBay for $1.5 million USD.
