No longer will sun-loving Lamborghini Aventador Roadster buyer suffer the heartbreak of living with only 700 horsepower, because at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show the Italian supercar builder will publicly unveil the Aventador S Roadster.
While we are thrilled by the stunning speed demonstrated by the Lamborghini Huracan Performante in setting a new Nurburgring lap record for street cars, the tuners at North Carolina’s Underground Racing were gunning for an even bigger number, hitting 250.27 mph to set a new half-mile world record. Ferrari marks the 70th anniversary of prancing horse V12 power with a new 6.5-liter engine that produces 789 horsepower for the new 812 Superfast. The front-engined V12 flagship, replaces the F12berlinetta and F12tdf in the lineup, makes it first public appearance at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
