Wolves Reportedly Trade Jimmy Butler to Sixers

Jimmy Butler is on his way out of Minnesota. The disgruntled Timberwolves star has been pushing for a trade since well before the season began and he’s finally got his wish. Butler is being traded to Philadelphia in a deal that includes All-Defensive First Team member Robert Covington and forward Dario Saric, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Jimmy Butler Drops 40 Points in Second Half Against Raptors, Breaks MJ’s Record

At halftime of Sunday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, Jimmy Butler had exactly two points. The Bulls found themselves down by 12, and that’s when Butler decided to go en fuego. Butler destroyed the Raps in the second half, dropping a Bulls record previously held byMichael Jordan for points in a half by pouring in 40 of them on 14-19 shooting. Jordan dropped 39 in a half in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks in 1989.
