Ankur Patar is an artist with a talent for recreating famous paintings. His forgeries wouldn’t fool a child, let alone an art expert, but they’re still absolutely remarkable pieces of art unto themselves because they’re painstakingly assembled in Photoshop using nothing but stock photos.
Life was basically impossible without Photoshop. The process and tools it took to get images and type set just the way you wanted took an eternity. There were no shortcuts! You needed a rapidograph pens, T-squares, rubber cement, exacto knifes and so much more just to do things Photoshop now does in one or two clicks.
KIDS ARE KIDS the world over—they love to run and yell and play in the sun. The difference is where it happens. Children at a school in Bethlehem take recess behind thick walls to protect them from gunfire, while youngsters in Tokyo amuse themselves on a rooftop seven stories up. Playgrounds vary by location and circumstance, but play remains the same.
