According to CNN, Pennsylvania’s highest court has agreed to review two aspects of Cosby’s 2018 sex crime trial, in which he was convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault. The state’s Supreme Court will look at Judge Steven T. O’Neill’s decision to allow testimony from five other accusers of uncharged misconduct. Cosby’s legal team argues these witnesses were unreliable and should have never appeared before the jury because their allegations were not part of the charges.
Police in Las Vegas have issued a warrant for the DNA of Cristiano Ronaldo. Five women who say Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them will be allowed to testify in his retrial, a Pennsylvania judge ruled Thursday, March 15.
Lawyers for Bill Cosby are arguing that the comedian is “legally blind” and therefore can’t identify his sexual assault accusers, reported NBC News. Cosby’s legal team made the written claim in a court document filed in Pennsylvania on Thursday. Cosby’s team was recently accused of attempting to hide Cosby’s “true nature” to get the case dismissed.
In an Ebony interview published Saturday, filmmaker Nate Parker addressed the 1999 allegation of rape made against him, noting that he “never took a moment to think about the woman” when he dismissedthe allegations earlier this month by saying that he “was cleared of it [in court]. That’s that.”
