World Health Organization Says Tanzania Is Withholding Info on Suspected Ebola Cases

In a statement on Saturday, the World Health Organization (WHO) accused the government of Tanzania of deliberately withholding information about suspected cases of Ebola virus disease, the Washington Post reported. The allegation follows reports of multiple cases throughout the nation, beginning in the capital city of Dar es Salaam, after which WHO said it was shut out from blood tests and informed by Tanzanian officials that the Ebola virus had been ruled out. China’s Smog Levels Reach 50 Times the Limit: ‘Everybody is at Risk’

Thick smog over Shenyang, a large city in northeastern China, sent air pollution in the city last weekend to levels about 50 times higher than what’s considered safe by the World Health Organization (WHO). That level of pollution puts the health of everyone in the city at risk, experts say.
